綠色是弗里烏爾州旗的顏色，弗里烏爾是「小號協奏曲」首演的地方，也是首席演奏獨奏的奧塔維亞諾·克里斯托福里（日本愛樂樂團首席小號演奏家）出生的地方。委託作品「小號協奏曲」於2018年3月17日在弗里烏爾烏迪內首演，是一個單樂章的15分鐘作品，但由三個主要部分組成。在「小號協奏曲」中，這部分是在柔音號上演奏的。奧塔維亞諾的小號優美地演唱了旋律，好像它伴隨著歌詞一般。因此，第二部分寫的旋律類似於意大利作曲家威爾第的詠嘆調或者董尼采悌的歌劇，它也是對意大利的致敬。音樂簡單而優美，所以我決定只將這部分用作一首獨立歌曲，並將其命名為「Green Aria」。順帶一提，這並不意味著標題更改為「綠色」（Azzurra），是向偉大的作曲家威爾第致敬（他名字的原文意思是「綠色」）。

"Green" is the color of the flag of Friuli, the place where the "trumpet concerto" was premiered, and also the place where Ottaviano Cristofori (the chief trumpet player of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra), who played the premier solo, was born and raised. The commissioned work "Trumpet Concerto" premiered on March 17, 2018 in Udine, Friuli. It is a 15-minute work of a single movement, but it consists of three major parts. This "Green Aria" corresponds to the second part. In the "Trumpet Concerto", this part is played on the Flugelhorn. Ottaviano's trumpet sings the melody beautifully, as if it were accompanied by lyrics. So this second part wrote melodies similar to Verdi, the Italian composer, or the aria of Donizetti's opera. It is also a tribute to Italy. The music was simple and beautiful, so I decided to use only this part as an independent song and named it "Green Aria". By the way, it doesn't mean that the title was changed to "Green" (Azzurra) in response to the fact that the great composer Verdi's name had the meaning of "green".
